April 2013
House is making progress... pouring the foundation. We saw a lot happen this month on the progress of our house. Got us very excited!
We were on our way to Jerry's house in Shreveport for a visit over the weekend. He had been in the hospital, so we wanted to go see him.
In the car...
(Ty always wanted to ride in the pink seat... because it was newer and more comfortable. Sweet Emery didn't put up a fight about it too much. And whenever she was able to ride in her own pink seat, she was so excited!)
Walking Jethro. Ty & Emery love him!
We liked going to the boardwalk to ride the carousel.
The last day we were there, Jerry was able to leave the hospital! We went out for lunch, then took him home and we left. As we were driving away, he lifted up his shirt to show us all the bandages on his belly! Haha. This is the last image we have of him. Little did we know, this would be the last time we see Jerry..... just shows how fun and silly he was!
More progress on the house...
2 days later...
And 2 days after that.
I did a little school with Ty and Emery this year, teaching all the letters and numbers.
V is for Volcano!!
Ty's buddies
Ty and Dad went on a Father/Son campout. They LOVED it!
Another date with the kids... Ty and I went to this hill and slid down it on pieces of a cardboard box. It was so much fun!! Then we went to eat and ate ice cream.
Emery and Daddy's date...
We are still at the Austin's home... kids playing.
