Pax & I are staying super busy. We have something going on every night every week, every hour-- that's what it seems like. Crazy! But it's good to keep busy. I just need to find time to practice the piano more- I have to play a musical number in church this Sunday! Ahh-- and I haven't even picked out a song yet! Oops!

Happy 1st Year Anniversary!!!

Okay, I know this is a lot to swallow in one day, so you might want to take a couple of days to look at all our new posts. As most of you know, Abby and I were married one year ago yesterday, October 6th, 2006. We celebrated our 1st year Anniversary and had a great time together.

The next 5 posts are all brand new and talk about our anniversary and some other cool things we have been doing. Hope you enjoy!!!

She finally got her piano!!!

So for our 1st year anniversary I wanted to get Abby something really nice. So I got her what she has been wanting more than anything, a Piano!!

So I was shopping around for piano's about 2 weeks ago and found this guy who buys beat up piano's from people who don't want them anymore and fixes them up. I went into his store and told him I was buying one for my wife. We picked out a nice mahogany piano and he gave it to me for $400. He fixed it up for me and everything, it looks great.

So anyway, I distracted Abby Saturday morning and went to go pick up the piano and move it to our 3rd floor apartment!!! Eric and I picked it up and put it in the truck and were both amazed how heavy it was. I almost got a hernia just putting it in the truck. So we called some reinforcements (Garrett and Marcus Ryan) to help us get it to the 3rd floor. It took about 20 minutes of blood, sweat, and tears to get it up to the apartment. It was hard work but totally worth it. I had to lie to Abby and tell her that I was helping someone move in the ward. After conference was over it was time to go back to the apartment to show her the surprise. We walked into our apartment and she looked at the piano, jumped around for a little bit, and then started crying. She already loves it so much and just wants to play any chance she gets.

Abby got me some cologne and I love it! It's that Hollister cologne and it smells really good. She also got me a bathroom tote bag with some body wash and other cologne. We agreed to not spend a lot of money on each other this anniversary, but of course I didn't follow through with that agreement. Here are some pics of the new piano...

This picture says it all! I am actually starting to feel a little jealousy towards the piano :(

Who is that hottie?!?!

So as a tradition, Abby decided when we got married that she wants to try on her wedding dress every anniversary. She was worried she wouldn't fit but I knew she would be fine because she works out like everyday!! Anyway, she fit just fine in the dress and looks better than the day I married her. I love you baby!!

Simply Fondue, Wedding Cake, & Hotel Lingafelter

For the last part our 1st Year Anniversary we went to Simply Fondue for dinner, back to the Hotel Lingafelter, and ate some of our wedding cake!!

Simply Fondue, as always, was awesome!! If you are not familiar with Simply Fondue it is a really cool fondue restaurant where you fry and eat a lot of food!! It is a four course meal including salad, cheese and bread dipping, meat/chicken/seafood dipping, and chocolate dipping at the end. We had a really good time but we were super full when it was all over.

After dinner we went back to the Hotel Lingafelter and enjoyed Hot Tubbing, Flat Screen TV's in every room, King-Size Bed, Joy Riding in the Jeep (Just Kidding Sis), and all the other cool things at their house. The Lingafelters' were out of town in Phoenix so we had the house to ourselves, it was a ton of fun and we are thankful they let us use their facilities.

Before we went to bed we had to take a bite of cake before our anniversary ended. My mom preserved it really well by wrapping it in newspaper, taping it up really tight, and keeping it in the freezer. It was actually really good, we were both amazed. Thanks mom!!!

Anyway, check out our pictures for the night...

Dang that was a big bite!

Abby always gets happier when good food is placed in front of her. The reason her teeth look so yellow is because she had a ton of cheese in her mouth when I took the picture.

Ummm, Dark Chocolate

Here we are at Hotel Lingafelter!!

Well, It didn't look as good as it did on our weddin day but it still tasted awesome!

Cavity or No Cavity?

We went to the dentist on Thursday morning for the first time in like a year!! We were a little worried we were going to have some cavities because our teeth have been hurting lately. But guess what? NO CAVITIES!! So why were your teeth hurting you might ask? Well, I grind my teeth at night, so it was making my teeth really sensitive, and Abby just has deep grooves on the tops of a few of her teeth, which made it hard for her to get all the grub and grime outta there. The doc took a picture of one tooth and displayed it on a little TV for us to see what he was seeing. On mine you could just tell I was grinding away, and on Abby's there was a bit of tooth decay in the deep grooves. Now that you know our dental history, check out these pearly whites...

FC Dallas Soccer Game

On Wednesday, we had the oppotunity to go to the FC Dallas Soccer game at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco! It was so cool! I usually cannot stand watching soccer on TV, but it was really fun watching it live. In fact, Abby and I are planning on going to a lot more games in the future because we had so much fun. But I think the only reason she said that was because she wants to go when FC Dallas plays David Beckham's team again. Anyway, Grant Thornton paid for our tickets and my Sis, Katie, Mom, Mr. Steve, Abby, and I all went. Here are some pics...

If your at Pizza Hut Park you gotta have some pizza.

Mom being goofy.

The Fam.

Here is Cam, getting things done.

This was the post-game party. Katie & Abby getting their groove on.
