The other day, Ty hurt his wrist. I didn't see what happened, but I knew he hurt his right wrist because he stopped using it, and anytime we tried to even lift his arm, he would cry. Paxton would twist it left and right, and that's what made him cry. Because we didn't see how he hurt it, we weren't sure how severe it was. We thought we'd give it a couple days and see how it is then.
That night on the monitor, we were laughing at him trying to fall asleep. He was SO careful with that arm, he hardly wanted to move it when he moved. Silly kid.
So the next morning, he still wouldn't move, lift, or use it in any way, so we figured it was still hurt. We went all through church babying that silly wrist. After church when YaYa came over for dinner, she started playing with him. And magically that wrist was better. I think he didn't realize that it was fine, but was just too afraid to try to use it. Silly boy. It was the funniest thing to see his limp arm dangle by his side. In the high chair, it sat limp. While walking or in the car seat, it sat limp. He is the funniest kid.
While he thought his wrist was hurt, he wanted to be babied and cuddle with us.. mostly Dad.
Emery looked so cute in her little pink & brown sweat suit, I had to take pictures. She is getting really big, and tall. She has a feisty little personality. I'm afraid she's going to be just as busy as Ty.
She has been a really easy baby so far. She sleeps a lot!! She is sleeping around 8 hours every night! I get some good sleep in, yet I still find myself tired. She does not like being on her tummy, so I've been trying to strengthen her neck by putting her in her Bumbo and keeping her sitting up on my lap as much as I can. Looking back at pictures of Ty at this age, he could already push himself up a little with his arms. But that was probably because he slept on his tummy, so he was used to it.
Ty can't wait for her to be able to play with him. He's ready for her to play trucks with him. He always tries handing her trucks, and makes sound effects to her.
I have such sweet kids.
