Who is that hottie?!?!

So as a tradition, Abby decided when we got married that she wants to try on her wedding dress every anniversary. She was worried she wouldn't fit but I knew she would be fine because she works out like everyday!! Anyway, she fit just fine in the dress and looks better than the day I married her. I love you baby!!

Simply Fondue, Wedding Cake, & Hotel Lingafelter

For the last part our 1st Year Anniversary we went to Simply Fondue for dinner, back to the Hotel Lingafelter, and ate some of our wedding cake!!

Simply Fondue, as always, was awesome!! If you are not familiar with Simply Fondue it is a really cool fondue restaurant where you fry and eat a lot of food!! It is a four course meal including salad, cheese and bread dipping, meat/chicken/seafood dipping, and chocolate dipping at the end. We had a really good time but we were super full when it was all over.

After dinner we went back to the Hotel Lingafelter and enjoyed Hot Tubbing, Flat Screen TV's in every room, King-Size Bed, Joy Riding in the Jeep (Just Kidding Sis), and all the other cool things at their house. The Lingafelters' were out of town in Phoenix so we had the house to ourselves, it was a ton of fun and we are thankful they let us use their facilities.

Before we went to bed we had to take a bite of cake before our anniversary ended. My mom preserved it really well by wrapping it in newspaper, taping it up really tight, and keeping it in the freezer. It was actually really good, we were both amazed. Thanks mom!!!

Anyway, check out our pictures for the night...

Dang that was a big bite!

Abby always gets happier when good food is placed in front of her. The reason her teeth look so yellow is because she had a ton of cheese in her mouth when I took the picture.

Ummm, Dark Chocolate

Here we are at Hotel Lingafelter!!

Well, It didn't look as good as it did on our weddin day but it still tasted awesome!

Cavity or No Cavity?

We went to the dentist on Thursday morning for the first time in like a year!! We were a little worried we were going to have some cavities because our teeth have been hurting lately. But guess what? NO CAVITIES!! So why were your teeth hurting you might ask? Well, I grind my teeth at night, so it was making my teeth really sensitive, and Abby just has deep grooves on the tops of a few of her teeth, which made it hard for her to get all the grub and grime outta there. The doc took a picture of one tooth and displayed it on a little TV for us to see what he was seeing. On mine you could just tell I was grinding away, and on Abby's there was a bit of tooth decay in the deep grooves. Now that you know our dental history, check out these pearly whites...

FC Dallas Soccer Game

On Wednesday, we had the oppotunity to go to the FC Dallas Soccer game at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco! It was so cool! I usually cannot stand watching soccer on TV, but it was really fun watching it live. In fact, Abby and I are planning on going to a lot more games in the future because we had so much fun. But I think the only reason she said that was because she wants to go when FC Dallas plays David Beckham's team again. Anyway, Grant Thornton paid for our tickets and my Sis, Katie, Mom, Mr. Steve, Abby, and I all went. Here are some pics...

If your at Pizza Hut Park you gotta have some pizza.

Addicted or Not?

I say NOT! This is a pretty cool little quiz that I saw on Jeni's & Heather's blog. I wonder how they calculate it- because i don't think I am that addicted. I would personally say I am 45-50% addicted :) How addicted are YOU? Obviously I am somewhat addicted- because I really am curious what everyone else gets on this quiz :) hehe.

Details...

... of our trip to Yellowstone! I didn't write anythign in the last post, just the pictures, so I thought I'd explain a little of what we did.

On a Tuesday evening we took off to my parent's cabin in Island Park, 1&1/2 hours away. We packed bread, peanut butter, jelly, soup, bananas, cheese sticks, cereal, milk & a few extras. We stayed the night in my parent's cabin Tuesday night, woke up early in the morning, packed everything up, turned off all the power to the cabin, and headed for Yellowstone National Park. The Park opens at 9AM so we were there at about 9:30. There was a little line of cars waiting to enter the park, but not too bad. When we got to the booth to pay, they gave us several flyers and a map of the park. One of the flyers explained that we should not get within 500 feet of a buffalo, or else we'll get charged at. It showed a cartoon picture of a man getting "bucked" (i guess is the word) by a buffalo! It said that it happens to many, so be cautious, blah blah blah. I don't have any cool stories of seeing anyone getting bucked, but it was kind of a funny flyer to get. Better safe than sorry.

So once you enter the Park, it takes about an hour to get to the first site. The speed limit is 45, so I think that's why it takes awhile. But about 10 minutes into our drive, a bunch of cars were slowing down and had stopped. When you see that, you know there are animals around that everyone's checkin out. So we stopped too, and found a bunch of deer/elk/who knows what-- right by the road. There were lots- like 8-9. So we got pics, that you'll see below. So that was pretty cool. Then another 5-10 minutes later, we were stopped again by a couple of bison on either side of the road- about 10-15 feet away from the road!! It was awesome. We took video of that, as you'll see below.

We were pretty pumped that right off the bat we saw lots of deer and bison right there. Come to find out, there's hundreds of bison in the park that like to hang out in the roads and nearby the roads. By the end of the day, we were a little sick of em. haha- not really, they're always cool to spot.

We also saw some crows- probably the biggest ones i've ever seen! And they aren't afraid of people either, they wouldn't fly or run away when we came near. I was more afraid of them than they were of us i think. Hmmm.

Anyway, we hit up basically all the cool, "must see" sites in the Park. We went to Old Faithful, the Little Grand Canyon(which was one of our faves), the Lower & Upper Falls,(another fave) Mammoth Hot Springs, Mudpots, the Mud Volcanos, and a few other pretty sites. And we did this all in ONE DAY! We were surprised! By the end of the day, Pax had taken 2 naps, and I had taken 0 ! What's his deal? It was a very fun adventure that everyone should try and do if they're in the area!!

Pics from my bro's wedding reception

Ok ok ok, so there are LOTS of pictures, but i took about 200 pictures over my break of my cute nieces and nephews, my paren'ts NEW house, our trip to Yellowstone Natn'l Park & my bro's wedding. There was lots goin on!! But, here's pics from the wedding (at the temple & at the reception-which was in my parents backyard that overlooks the Snake River)

Paxton looking .... cool? The beautiful bride & groom exiting the I.F. temple!

Beautiful Blonde Babes AKA My sisters, Kelsie & Katie :)

Now at the reception...

The bridesmaids...

...and the Groomsmen

Leaving the reception to go to their hotel!! YEAH- PARTY! If you look closely at John, you'll see how super excited he is... I'm sure to get to the hotel.... about time eh?! :) hehe

Just wanted to show my cute nephew Cody

Daddy/Daughter dance

Mother/Son dance-- The songs they played were pretty much the same ones that were played at mine & Pax's reception in Dallas. So cute. And look at the river,... isn't it awesome. The river is RIGHT THERE! What a pretty sight. There was a ring ceremony with the audience looking out to the river. Although the sun was in our face, it was very beautiful.

The cake feeding. John got it ALL over her face! And of course he eats it off her face :)

They had a DJ there and started played DANCE MUSIC later at the reception. There were tons of kids gettin their groove on!! I got a video of it--- it's SUPER cute. I need to figure out how to post it someday, but in the mean time- pictures will have to do.

All the "adults" also got in a group and danced. It was fun to see everyone's style of dancing :) My brother, Mark, was there swing dancing a bit. It's always fun to watch him swing dance. It's very entertaining. Makes me want to be better. I know the Lindy but Im not too good at it.

Well, those are the majority of the pics from the wedding- I have more pictures from our other adventures: Yellowstone, camping, my family, and the new home. I'll post those soon.

I'd been gone for about 3 weeks-- I miss you all. We'll be callin someday- when we have time- to hang out. Hope everyone is well!
