fun, fun, and more fun

 For Ty's birthday, he got a garbage truck from us.  He loves garbage trucks, and loves that he can dump trash into this one.  He also got a new big tractor, so he was loving his BIG trucks!!

 We went out to eat at Macaroni Grill one night for his & our birthday.  Ty got pizza- yum!

 I made this cookie cake from a Martha Stewart recipe.  It was really rich.  I can usually handle rich desserts, but this cake was seriously rich.  Like, I could only eat a tiny sliver of a piece.

 I thought this picture was funny because it reminded me of when I was a little kid.  There's a home video of Katie & John jumping in and out of a pool like this, and I was standing to the side watching and growing impatient, waiting for my turn.  I started swinging my arms side to side yelling, "It's myyyy tuuuurrnn!!! It's myyyy tuuurrrrnn!!!"  Finally they let me get in, and I climbed the chair next to the pool, slowly lowered my toes into the pool- like the picture above - and got in so carefully.  Then I put the palms of my hands on the surface of the water.  Then walked over to the edge of the pool, grabbed the edge and stuck my belly out and stood there watching the camera.  Katie & John grew impatient and told me to get out so they could jump in and out again.  So I went to the side and started yelling, "it's myy turrrnnn" again!  hahaha.  ANYWAY, Ty sparked that memory from this cute picture.  Like him, I also was wearing just little undies in the pool.

 Pax works from home twice a week.  The kids like to help him out.

They play so well together.  Well, not together, but by each other. 

I can't wait for the weather to cool off- it has been too hot for too long.  I'm sick of it!  I want to go on a walk or go to the park without sweating within the first 5 seconds.  Someday.
